Before the Internet and the Mobiles, there were Telephones

Telephones are one of the first telecommunications devices to have taken the world by storm. They attained instant popularity and acceptance the moment they were invented. In fact, they are the basis on which all the telecommunication devices of the present day are invented and designed. Though telephones are a common occurrence, they were a luxury in the age of our forefathers and even our fathers.

The basic phone model too has undergone a lot of changes with better and sleeker telephones available. We have the cordless variety, and even the ones with the answering machines. Today we have the luxury of having a variety of choices, when it comes to communication devices like the Internet and the mobile phones, but you have to agree, that the old world charm of the telephones of yesteryears is still captivating.
