Dect Phones - clarity speaks

When we talk about the working of the DECT phones, they basically work from a base station, usually with a single handset, although there are some dect phone models which have the option to add futher an additional handsets to the base station. You can also have an additional cordless handsets in different areas of your home. I found it ideal specially if you have a home office or work from home. It is also an excellent choice if you have a large garden and want to take your phone outside with you, and is recognized by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) as it fulfills the IMT-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications) requirements and thus qualifies as a 3G system.

With dect phones, you have the freedom to have phone conversations, free from the wires. When you will do some research about them, then you will find out that there are some handsets which allows you to talk as far as 300 metres away from the base unit.

In an office environment, many businesses find dect phones useful as they allow colleagues to constantly stay in touch, even when they are away from their desks. Calls between 2 handsets on the same line are also free, making it an extremely attractive proposition for organisations who rely on frequent phone calls.

The best thing is that you can even talk to another person within the house using a DECT phones, rather like a walkie talkie device. when we talk about the battery life, it will depend on the amount of money you spend on the phone. More expensive handsets allows you to talk for around eight hours with a single charge up. When not in use, the handsets can retain a charge for around 100 hours. Most dect phones have a battery alert device that signals when battery power is low.
